Namara Arthur Araali- Principal Director
Namara Arthur Principal Director is the executive Director of the organisation and an ex-official to the Board. He holds a MSc in Gerontology from Southampton University (UK), Bachelors Degree in community Based Development and a Diploma in Project Planning and Development. He has 15 years experience in community development and Research in HIV/AIDS. He is a good Trainer and holds a certificate in Good Clinical Practice. Arthur has held several senior positions in the community including being a Minister od Information in the Tooro Kingdom (Cultural Institution). He is a member of the National council for Old Persons in Uganda
Asiimwe Sylvia – Programme Coordinator
Ms Asiimwe Sylvia is the Programme Coordinator and has over 15 years working experience. she holds a Masters Degree in Development Practice (Advanced) majoring in Community Development from University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelors degree in social sciences majoring in Social Administration and social administration, sociology and political science from Makerere University. She has a wide range of experience on issues of governance and accountability, Government Liaison roles and project development and management at a community level.
Ms. Saba Zubeda – Administrator
Ms Saba Zubeda is a Self-directed, resourceful and passionate administrative professional with more than 8 years’ successful track record in clerical work, problem solving, time management and communication to provide effective support to office.
Bafuna Irene – Project Officer (ELMA Project)
Ms Irene Bafuna is the Project Officer in charge of the ELMA project. This project is being implemented by HENU on behalf of Mildmay Uganda and seeks to close the gap between infection and care of children infected by HIV. Irene holds a BA in Education from Nkozi University and a certificate in HIV and child counseling. She has a four years working experience in the field of HIV and is well suited for this position.
